Hi, I’m noam krav el. Clinical psychologist, integrative therapist
“I help my clients, especially those navigating multicultural life in Sweden, to address their mental health challenges, by establishing a warm, safe, and collaborative space where they feel truly understood and valued.”
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist (Israel) with 20 years of experience in treating adults, adolescents, and children. As an immigrant myself, I bring a personal understanding to my professional expertise, offering a compassionate space for those navigating the complexities of building a life in a new country.
I understand that living in Sweden as a non-native, whether you moved for work, studies, or love, brings unique psychological hurdles. From the loss of your usual support network to the challenges of "fitting in" I help clients who feel like "outsiders" to regain their footing and build deep resilience.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining evidence-based techniques (like CBT) with the depth of Psychodynamic therapy. I believe in active, problem-oriented therapy that focuses on the "here and now" while acknowledging how the past influences current behaviours.
I offer a warm, compassionate, and collaborative style, ensuring a safe and non-judgmental environment essential for personal growth and healing. Above all, I value cultural diversity and work diligently to create a space where clients from all backgrounds feel profoundly understood.
Professional Background I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Management. Following my academic studies, I completed a four-year specialist training in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My diverse experience includes working in hospital mental health clinics, community centers, and educational settings. I worked in a specialised Anxiety and Post-Trauma unit at a children's hospital, specialising in the use of CBT and PE (Prolonged Exposure) for trauma recovery.
Before joining Lives in Flow, I spent two years as a psychologist in a Swedish Vårdcentral, providing therapy.

Relationships are complex, and even the strongest bonds can face periods of disconnection or conflict. In our sessions, using evidence-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, I help you and your partner navigate these challenges by identifying the underlying patterns that disrupt your communication and intimacy. We will work together to create a supportive environment where both partners feel heard and valued. By understanding the dynamics at play and learning practical ways to relate to one another, you can resolve conflicts, heal emotional wounds, and rediscover a deeper, more resilient connection.

My path
I’ve I have a bachelor’s degree both in Psychology and Management from Tel-Aviv University and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Academic College of Tel-Aviv-Yafo, which was followed by a four-year specialist training both in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
In the past 20 years I focused on becoming a psychologist. Primarily developing and deepening as a therapist by gaining clinical experience. I started with children in a hospital setting and outpatient setting, moved to work with adolescent from rough background in boarding schools. In the beginning my techniques were of a psychodynamic/psychoanalytic approach. Later, I broadened my knowledge and tools to CBT therapies, in the beginning mainly with anxiety disorders and PTSD (PE) and later Mindfulness, ACT and Positive Psychology.
In the private setting I worked with adults and realized that I enjoy this work. I constantly continued, to broaden my knowledge- I studied hypnoses, different theoretical scholars, and new therapy approaches. I started to teach therapists about how to incorporate CBT in play therapy with children and Adolescents. I did that in the school for Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents at the Schneider Children’s Medical Center and to my colleges during the time that I worked for “Maccabi healthcare services”. Since I believe in constant learning, I continued studying and finished a three-year program at the school of psychotherapy at Tel-Aviv University where I deepened my clinical knowledge.
I am licensed in Israel and in the beginning of the long process to get licenced in Sweden. In Sweden I worked in a Vårdcentralen, Familjeläkarna in Saltsjöbaden, as a Psykolog till första linjen for adults and adolescents and adults in English.
