Hi, i’m Tama Lane, PhD
“I offer evidence-based therapy at the intersection of emotional health, attachment, and identity—helping individuals and couples understand their patterns, strengthen connection, and navigate life with greater clarity.”
I’m a U.S.- trained Clinical Psychologist working with adults and couples using an evidence-based, relational, systemic, and trauma-informed approach. My work draws from psychodynamic therapy, cognitive and behavioral therapies, Emotionally Focused Therapy principles, Bowenian and contextual family systems, Trauma-Focused CBT, and DBT-informed interventions to support meaningful emotional and relational change.
I pay close attention to how history, family systems, and culture shape emotional life—especially the patterns we inherit, the identities we negotiate, and the relational dynamics formed long before we can name them.
My clinical focus includes early relational experiences and family-of-origin dynamics, patterns that shape connection and conflict, identity development, trauma and post-traumatic stress, anxiety, mood challenges, neurodivergence and personality dynamics, burnout, men’s emotional wellness, non-monogamous or open relationships navigating trust and boundaries, cross-cultural and expat adjustment, and complex family systems. I work in an active and collaborative style, helping clients understand their emotional patterns and build more grounded, sustainable ways of relating to themselves and others.

Free introductory session
30 minutes. In person or online
You are welcome to book a free introductory session, where you can share what brings you to therapy and ask any questions about the process. During this meeting, I offer a brief clinical overview of the concerns you’d like to work on, outline how therapy might support you, and describe the approaches I draw from.
This consultation also helps us determine whether we are a good therapeutic fit, which is essential for emotionally safe and effective work together.

Individual therapy
1,450 SEK
60 minutes. In-person or online
A 60-minute individual session provides a focused, reflective space to explore emotional patterns, attachment dynamics, stress responses, and the psychological themes shaping your current experience. Sessions may include insight-oriented work, emotional processing, cognitive–behavioral tools, and exploration of early relational experiences that influence adult functioning.
The goal is to strengthen emotional clarity, resilience, and day-to-day coping in ways that feel grounded, sustainable, and aligned with your values.

Couples therapy
1,550 SEK
60 minutes. In-person or online
Couples sessions support partners in understanding and shifting the cycles that create distance, conflict, or emotional rupture. We work to identify underlying attachment needs, improve communication, and restore emotional safety and connection.
Using evidence-based, relationally focused approaches, sessions help partners rebuild trust, repair old injuries, deepen intimacy, and cultivate more secure patterns of relating.
